Rule 1: Ce/c' is used as a third-person neutral or impersonal subject pronoun.

Rule 2: Ce can mean "it", "this", "that", "these", or "those" and is commonly used with the verb être.

Rule 3: Ce becomes c' when it's followed by a word that begins with a vowel or a muet "h."
