Usage of the Subject Pronouns
- Je: replaces the speaking person (I). It's also used as j’ before vowels and silent h.
- Tu: replaces the person someone is talking to (you).
- Il or elle: replaces the object or person we are talking about (he, she or it).
- Nous: replaces the people who speak, including "me" (us).
- Vous: replaces the people you talk to and also as polite form (you).
- Ils or elles: replaces the people or things we are talking about (they).
