Passive Perfect: "sein" + past participle + worden

The passive perfect tense in German is formed by using the auxiliary verb "sein" (to be) in combination with the past participle of the main verb, followed by "worden" (the past perfect of the verb "werden", which means "to become").

In the passive voice, it's not the subject who acts but rather the thing or person that something happens to. The action is the relevant part, and the agent of the action is often left out.
